Brand Windows With Your Information
Start by opening notepad.
Next, add the following 7 lines: [General]
Manufacturer=Your name or Company name here.
Model=The model of your computer here.
[Support Information]
Line1=Put your name or Company name here.
Line2=The address you want displayed here.
Line3=Put your e-mail address here. Now save the file as OEMINFO.INI in your c:\windows\system32 directory. (If your system32 directory is located somewhere else, make sure to save OEMINFO.INI to that directory instead.) To test it, right click on "my computer".
Select "properties".
Under the "general tab", you should see the new information being displayed. |
